次期iPodやiPhoneはユニボディに？
Appleが小型音楽プレイヤー、この絵ではiPod classicと思われ、にご自慢のユニボディを使う特許を提出しているということです。
ユニボディは１枚のアルミやステンレスのシートメタルから削り出しによって実現する製法は、MacBookで採用され、その美しさは他社のPCと差別化の要因となっていますが、それに加え、製造コストも減少させるメリットもあるようです。
iPod やiPhoneもユニボディによる美しく強靭なボディが採用される可能性はかなり高いかもしれませんね。
