次期米国大統領オバマ氏ご用達のデジタルカメラ
オバマ次期大統領の公式ポートレイトが米国政府の公式ページにアップされましたが、EXIFデータが付いていたということで話題になっています。
上は言うまでもなく、アメリカのバラク・オバマ次期大統領。20日の就任を前に、公開されたばかりの公式肖像写真です。なぜEngadgetがこれを取り上げるかというと、合衆国大統領の公式肖像写真として、はじめてデジタルカメラで撮影されたものだから。撮影者はPete Souza氏。
私もEXIFデータを見てみましたが、確かに、Canon EOS 5D markIIという機種情報が残っていました。
一方、焦点距離が105mとなっていますから、レンズはEF 24-105 F4L って感じでしょうかね？
、絞りはF10、シャッタースピードは1/125ということで、当然ですが、かなりライトアップされているようですね。
測光モードは分割測光モード、補正値±０ということで、5D mark IIの正確な露出が光るところですね(^^;;
で、驚くべきことは、このEOS 5D mark IIで撮影したオバマ氏の写真が歴代米国大統領初、のデジタルカメラで撮影した初の公式肖像写真ということです！

For the first time, the official photo of the President of the United States was taken with a digital camera . . . the Canon EOS 5D Mark II to be exact. Pete Souza, the new White House photographer, is a Canon shooter. Previously, he shot with the 5D. Since being named the “First Photographer”, however, he picked up the 5D Mark II. Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR was used to capture the image, which was edited in Adobe Photoshop CS3 on a Macintosh. The EXIF data also records a focal length of 105mm, and the photo was shot without flash at ISO 100 equivalent using an aperture of F10, and a shutter speed of 1/125 second.
Barack Obama’s election to US president has already brought a string of firsts, and on Wednesday there came another. The official presidential portrait was shot on a digital camera for the first time.
