オリンパスユーザ期待のミッド＆ハイレンジなデジタル一眼レフE-3が発表されました！！
The Olympus E-3: An all-round professional masterpiece
Olympus finally announced their long-awaited prosumer camera, the E-3. Though it was originally billed as a pure pro camera, the E-3 is really more comparable to the semi-pro cameras of Olympus’s competitors, like the Pentax K10D or the Nikon D300.
イメージセンサは1000万画素Live-Mos
防塵防滴、勿論超音波のアンチダスト、そしてISの名前がロゴにあるように、ボディ内手ブレ補正も搭載。
世界一速いオートフォーカスという歌い文句、また３本の超音波AFのレンズも同時発表、E-3と組み合わせると最強のAF性能だそうです。
1/8000のシャッタースピードと秒5コマという性能です。
The E-3 features the world’s fastest* auto-focusing speeds thanks to an advanced AF system and new ZUIKO DIGITAL SWD (Supersonic Wave Drive) lenses. Matched with shutter speeds of up to 1/8000th sec. and 5fps sequential shooting (with a 19 image RAW buffer in burst mode), the E-3 gives photographers a crucial edge to help capture that decisive shot.
また、ファイダーが大きく改良され、視野率100%、拡大率115%というイメージセンサが小さいフォーサーズの欠点を補うマグニファイアがビルドインされているそうです。
またマルチアングルの液晶とライブビューも搭載、GN13のビルトインフラッシュも搭載してます。

The Olympus E-3 will be available from the end of November 2007. The body only will be available for approximately £1099, the kit with the 14-54mm lens for approximately £1499 and the kit with the new 12-60mm lens for approximately £1699.
